Who is Lucie? Lucie is the creative alter ego of Austin’s premiere event planner, Wendee Sawran. When Wendee was a little girl, she loved to play with her mother’s makeup. She would take it and mix together colors to craft her own custom blends. It was only natural that she started selling her creations to her friends. Her business was called “Lucie’s” – from her middle name, Lucielle. The name just stuck, and now she’s putting that same eye for the unique and beautiful to work—creating custom events with distinct style and flair.

Wendee is an experienced wedding & event designer and planner with experience in Austin, San Antonio, New Orleans, and even Key West. She and her staff have been a part of many happy occasions in Texas, Jamaica, Bahamas, Hawaii, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Turks and Caicos, to name a few.
